Ness Wadia, the son of industrialist Nusli Wadia, has been sentenced a two-year jail term in Japan for possession of drugs — while on a skiing holiday to the country.
Part of the Wadia family, where his parents and several family members are all involved in the business—he is also the great-grandson of the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah—thus making him a direct descendant of Jinnah
Ness is also the co-owner of Kings XI Punjab cricket team.
The Wadia empire has many units, which include Bombay Dyeing, Bombay Burman Trading, biscuit giant Britannia Industries to budget airline GoAir and a share in IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab with the total market valuation of its listed entities standing at $13.1 billion
“Preity Zinta Goodenough also had filed harassment and molestation charges against him. This fellow a spoilt rich brat sure had a troubled childhood, Nusli Wadia failed to give him the right upbringing.”
