Mukesh Ambani has held the title of the richest man in India for 13 years straight. He has been included on Forbes list of the world’s most powerful people and he runs the foremost valuable company in India. Today we’re talking about Mukesh Ambani. Mukesh Ambani was born on April 19, 1957. His father was an entrepreneur who started several businesses eventually creating a corporation called Reliance. When Mukesh was older he joined his father in his business that mainly addressed textiles, polyester fibers, and petrochemicals. Mukesh expanded the company into the field of communications technology and he has also led the creation of the world’s largest grassroots petroleum refinery. When his father died in 2002 he took over the majority of the business and became the chairman, managing director and largest shareholder of Reliance Industries Limited in 2016. He launched his own smartphone brand called LYF and that has quickly become the third-largest selling mobile phone brand Reliance continued to become more and more profitable until it became the most valuable business in India in 2017. Mukesh has been married to his wife Mita since 1985 and they have three grown children named Akash and Isha. His net worth as of 2020 is 70 billion USD.
